I’m Donna. Born and bred in Brooklyn, New York — which means I face things head-on. Life handed me a few plot twists I never saw coming: loss, identity shakeups, and the sort of challenges you just can’t make up. As I worked to make sense of it all, I turned to community — and found real comfort in connecting.
By sharing pieces of my life, I found strength in those connections — and something more. People reached out, shared their own stories, and sought advice on navigating similar challenges. Community gives us strength. This is a place for all of that.
